BLACK ROSE/ROSA NEGRA

We are an organization of active revolutionaries who share common visions of a new world – a world where people collectively control their own workplaces, communities and land and where all basic needs are met. We are Black Rose Anarchist Federation / Federación Anarquista Rosa Negra (BRRN) and believe in the need to build a specific political organization united around a common set of ideas, strategy, and practice that should speak to the needs of our time, and act as a catalyst in struggles to expand their revolutionary potential.

We are organizing in response to the many local gatherings around the election to unite community organizations and individuals toward direct action, solidarity and mutual aid, as well as provide a recurring opportunity for community members to plug into ongoing organizing efforts and to engender their own.

As the state is further politicized by the new administration we look toward the development of localized neighborhood assemblies as directly-democratic bodies of community power, to provide the means to fight back.

PDX Outreach for Justice helps coordinate and support outreach efforts for community organizing work. We seek to support groups, coalitions and individuals with printing / tech resources, networking / communication tools, canvassing, phone banking, etc.

We are firmly committed to fighting racism, colonialism, imperialism, capitalism, patriarchy and all forms of oppression and are eager to work with folks who share this vision for revolutionary change within our local communities and across the globe.

The Portland Solidarity Network (PDXSol) is an all-volunteer organization devoted to advocating for the rights of workers and tenants. We use direct action to confront individuals, organizations, or corporations responsible for exploiting, harassing, or cheating – in monetary or non-monetary terms – workers or tenants.
BikeSwarm: a bicycle revolution for the 99%! We advocate for social justice and a more livable city for all, opposing the destructive effect capitalism and car culture have on our social fabric.
BikeSwarm is a loose affiliation of riders primarily committed to providing support for nonviolent direct actions in the pursuit of social and environmental justice. Bicycles provide tactical and strategic advantages via greater mobility, vehicular protection for pedestrians and longer sight lines. We also organize our own rides around issues to draw visibility to them, as well as to create a sense of camaraderie and fun in our direct actions.
A 20 year old funding, publishing, and educational organization. Although the IAS has members all over Canada and the US, we have our PO box here in Portland, 3 or our 12 members live here in Portland, and we often organize and sponsor local political and educational events.
